Come and Join Us!
We are looking forward to having Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse at our school on Monday 27th June, to kick off our NAIDOC Week at Duncraig Primary School. Parents and community members are cordially invited to attend. The mini-concert will be from 9.45-10.30 am. As Monday is a Kindy A day, we are including our Kindy students in our morning concert. Parents of Kindy B & C students may like to bring them along as well. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Assembly Superstars
Congratulations to our Assembly Superstars last Thursday! Thank you to the Year 3 and 4 students from Rooms 6 and 7 who taught us all about Conflict Resolution.
Our last Assembly for Term 2 will take place next Thursday, 23rd June, hosted by the Year 5 students of Room 3.
School Jackets
Last week I reminded students about wearing the appropriate school jacket to school. I would really appreciate parents supporting me with this request. School uniform jackets or Leavers’ jackets are the only outerwear we would like to see our students in. Club jackets and hoodies (Netball) or free dress jackets are not part of our school uniform. Thank you for your assistance with this.
Reports and Interviews
Semester 1 Reports will be emailed out on Monday 27th June. Please ensure that we have your current email address on our records. Mrs Janet Wilderspin will be available for Parent Interviews regarding French achievement, on this day also.
School Holiday Activities
Information about School Holiday Programs being run by Zig Zags and MBA Sports. Please contact these organisations directly to take advantage of these vacation programs. In Term 3, Zig Zags will continue to run after school care from Monday to Friday afternoons. The Dance Club will continue their Dance Program on Tuesday and MBA will continue their Sports Program on Wednesday afternoons.
