We are looking forward to another exciting year at Duncraig Primary School. Teachers and students have made an excellent start to 2020 and it’s pleasing to see so many smiling faces throughout the school.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new students and families. The school is also pleased to have three new teachers join our school community. Kelly Edwards in Pre primary (Room 16), Susie Wass in Science and Peter Axton (Room 1,2,8 and PP music).

This year we are changing the way we share school news. School news was previously shared through a fortnightly newsletter. School news will now appear on the school’s website which will include a fortnightly Principal Update, classroom news, school events, calendar updates and general school information. Parents will be notified via Connect when a new Principal’s Update is available. This should allow for easier access for parents/carers to keep up with the latest news.

Parent information sessions will occur on Wednesday 19 February. This is an opportunity for families to be informed about their child’s learning program and important classroom information. PP- Year 2 sessions occur between 6.00-6.30pm. Year 3-6 sessions occur between 6.30 -7.00pm.

The P&C are kick starting the year with a Welcome Back BBQ on Friday 21 February, 5-6:30pm. All community members are welcome to join in this great event!
