Many thanks to those parents who attended the parent information sessions last week. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to meet the teachers and be informed about their child’s learning program along with important classroom information.
A huge shout out to our P&C for organising the Welcome BBQ last Friday. Both parents and children enjoyed the balmy evening which included bubble magic, sausage sizzle, music, skipping and icy poles. A big thankyou to the organising committee and to our local Duncraig IGA for their support. It was wonderful to see so many families attend the evening. A fantastic way for new families to the school to meet other parents and for those not new to school to reconnect as a community.

Your willingness to volunteer your time and energy is very much appreciated by the school community. I would also like to acknowledge the various parents who have volunteered to coordinate the various fundraising events during the year.
For the past two weeks’ students in Years 5 and 6 have been enjoying swimming lessons at Mullaloo Beach. The weather has just been perfect for it. All students have demonstrated outstanding behaviour! What a wonderful opportunity for our students to not only improve their swimming but also learn about water safety in the ocean.
